| 1 | final | === Module Customizations === This module includes custom changes to spells, appearance, and leveling. Read on for an overview. --- Epic Spell Enhancements --- Epic spells have been greatly improved beyond standard NWN: Dragon Knight: Summons a level-60 Fighter Red Dragon (CR 123, 540 HP, Str/Dex/Con/Cha 40). Duration 30 rounds. Cannot be dispelled. Mummy Dust: Summons a dual-class level-60 undead warrior (CR 212, 520 HP). Duration 30 hours. Cannot be dispelled. Epic Ward: Damage Reduction 60/+20. Cannot be dispelled. Duration scales with caster level. Hellball: 10d20 of each damage type (Acid, Electrical, Fire, Sonic) in a massive area. Reflex save for partial reduction. Causes knockdown if total damage exceeds 200. Greater Ruin: Up to 5000 damage (10d20 x25) to a single target. Fortitude save for partial reduction. Curse Song (Bard): Fully custom scaling across 30+ tiers based on Perform skill and level. At high ranks: -15 attack, -15 AC, -7 all saves, -18 all skills, and 98 sonic damage in a colossal radius. --- Other Spell Changes --- Summon Creature (I-IX): Fixed duration of 24 hours (no longer scales with level). Time Stop: Disabled. Cannot be cast. --- Spells/Systems NOT Changed (Stock Standard) --- The following are commonly modified on other servers but are left at standard NWN behavior here: True Seeing: Works exactly as written - penetrates all illusions and invisibility. No nerfs. Stealth/Hide: Standard mechanics. No custom detection bonuses or penalties beyond what the ruleset provides. Subraces: No subrace system. All characters use standard NWN races with default racial bonuses only. --- Appearance Customization --- Player Appearance (Bree): Talk to one of the cows in Bree to access an appearance menu with 315+ creature forms. This is free and permanent until changed again. Item Appearance Crafting: Armor and weapon appearance can be remodelled using the CEP crafting system (accessed via the Craft Armor/Weapon skill in conversation). No fail chance - all appearance changes succeed automatically regardless of skill level. --- Legendary Leveling: Levels 41-60 --- Once you reach level 40, you may continue advancing to level 60 through the Legendary Leveling system. Speak to the Legendary Leveler NPC in the Legendary Leveling area to advance. On each Legendary level-up you WILL gain: - Skill points - Hit Points (based on your highest-class hit die, not caster level) - Ability score increases (at standard intervals) - Feats (one selectable feat per level) On each Legendary level-up you will NOT gain: - Caster level increases (spell power does not grow past level 40) - New spell slots or spell levels - Class-based progression (no new class features, BAB, or saving throw improvements) In short: Legendary levels make you tougher and more versatile through raw stats and feats, but do not increase spellcasting power. XP required climbs steeply - from ~49,000 per level at 41 to over 3,000,000 for level 60 (total ~17.5M XP to reach 60). | hgll_cliententer |
